Arsenals to see red ? Fresh from their defeat in Calabar, Asante Kotoko will continue their search for this season’s league title when they host bitter rivals, Berekum Arsenals at the Baba Yara Stadium, as the League reaches week 18 on Sunday. Before this match, however, the CAF Confederation campaigners will trek to Tamale to clear an outstanding clash with RTU, in another anticipated cagey contest. The Bashir Hayford side fumbled to a 0-2 defeat to Nigeria’s Dolphins in their Confederation Cup first leg in Calabar, plunging the team into a state of alertness ahead of Sunday’s clash. Competitiveness and caution have always been the hallmark in games involving the two sides since the Ernest Appau led side joined the elite league, and Sunday’s is likely to follow the same trend. Fuelled by their 3-0 win against Zaytuna United FC at the Golden City Park in their second round first game last Sunday, the “Gunners” appear ready to stand in the way of the Porcupine Warriors, But the striking sensational duo of Emmanuel Osei Kuffuor and Eric Bekoe will be expected to partner Kwabena Yaro upfront to maintain their invincibility aura on the local front. Other games will see Hearts of Oak traveling to Wa to battle FA capo, Kofi Nyantekye’s All Stars in another highly expectant game. All Stars lost by a 0-3 thrashing at the hands of Hearts in the first leg and this seem to have buoyed vengeance in the camp of the Wa lads. At the El-Wak stadium, badly bruised Zaytuna will stay home to play against high flying Heart of Lions, while All Blacks will travel to Tamale to play RTU. Tema Youth will engage Real Sportive in a local derby at the Tema Stadium, with Kessben playing as guests of bottom club, Great Olympics. Ashgold will stay at their fortress, the Len Clay Stadium to face Liberty Professionals in a mouth watering game, while Hasaacas host King Faisal at the Sekondi Stadium in a match of equals.
